What a Full-Length Film Might Look Like

If this opener were to be a full-length movie, I'm not entirely sure what it would cover. The beginning would obviously be the opener, title card...but what after that? 

    It could possibly cover what led him into the miserable state he is in, and why he puts on a more 'cheerful' personality when he's out of his house. I try to imply that he feels this way because he's stuck in his office job, but I would want there to be more to that. Here's how an outline of the film from the top of my head could go:

- shows the man sitting in front of the tv when suddenly his phone starts ringing

- no caller ID but he picks it up

- its an old friend that wants to reconnect

- after some hesitance they make up plans to meet at a bar

- catch up with one another 

- the friend asks why he was so distant before they eventually stopped communicating with each other

- the man reveals what happened

    I'm realizing now that outlining the entire movie might take quite a few more dashes so in summary, after the man reveals the truth, him and the friend end up trying to get the man's life back together. I'm honestly not sure what he would reveal and how their journey would go, but if I had a writing team we'd probably be able to make something emotional...maybe.
