Use of Props and Set

      Although the props in my video only appear for a brief time on-screen, they help the viewer in figuring out who my character is and where he just came from when he gets out of the car. In the beginning of the project, you can see the man with a small, leather briefcase to signify that he just got home from work. Although it still could have been obvious due to the clothing he was wearing, I think the use of the bag makes it much more clear, and adds to his "basic 9-5" work outfit. 

    The set is also important in telling the story as well. The only location is the front of the characters house, and the inside. I think this helps in conveying the fact that after the man's miserable job, he returns straight home to his dull, empty house, which further adds on to his negative state. Even though he probably doesn't want to go out and party after a long day of work, like most, I think that with the emptiness of the home + the gray lighting in the video, it could imply that he wishes that he didn't always just go straight home after work, and had the choice of a different option.
