Brainstorm
For this film opening project, I've come up with a few ideas that might not only be easy to accomplish but is something that I'll have fun doing too. Some of my ideas were inspired by different media that I enjoy, but I added/will add my own twists and details to make it unique.
Brainstorms:
- A robber breaking into a house - a thief is going into someone's house and stealing their stuff. But, as they are going around, they hear a thud/sound/etc. They go to investigate and find the homeowner, the robber appears to attack the person, but we don't know what happens because it cuts to black.
- A person comes back after a long day of work - the person exits out of their car into their house and puts their things away. They go to the fridge and grab a ready-made meal to put into the microwave. They eat alone in front of the TV, looking very miserable.
- A person wakes up from a nightmare - although I'm not sure what the nightmare will consist of yet, it will be the majority of the opening then at the end the person wakes up in shock/fear
- A person is trying to get through their day but keeps noticing that a figure is following/watching him. As he tries to avoid it, the figure is only getting faster and faster at catching up to him. Once they finally meet, it is revealed the figure is a replica of him and the movie cuts to black.
These are just a few ideas I've thought of and there'll probably be more, but for now I think these ideas could be fun to film. I hope whichever one I end up choosing is enough to keep viewers engaged and is something I won't rip my hair out trying to figure out...
